| Event Description | Four titles on the line at Ring of Combat 30 Friday night!The four titles are on the line this night are middleweight, bantamweight, welterweight, and lightweight, all of which will be three five-minute rounds.In the main event Bellator vet Uriah Hall faces a more experienced Roger Carroll for the middleweight title vacated by Costa Phillippou. Hall is coming off a win over Mitch Whitesel in November while Carroll defeated Clint Hester in February. Speaking of vacated titles the lightweight title most recently held by Chris Ligouri is up for grabs between Edson Barboza and Marcelo Giudici. Undefeated Barboza picked up a win over Nabih Barakat in February and another over Jose Figueroa just three weeks later. Brazilian Giudici is on a seven-win streak most recently winning a TKO over Eugenio Tadeu just one month ago. At welterweight defending champion Mike Medrano gives up seven inches but is not short on speed and aggression against Ryan LaFlare. Undefeated LaFlare is coming off a win over Justin Haskins while Medrano is on a three-win streak most recently over Sam Jackson. In the inaugural bantamweight championship Steve DeAngelis fights Nicholas Page. DeAngelis is coming off a loss to Jacob Kirwan in Shogun Fights while less experienced but undefeated Page most recently defeated Jose Adriano in April. |
